People Incorporated Financial Services is certified through the U.S. Treasury as a Community Development Financial Institution. We provide financial products and business development services to promote small business ownership throughout Southwestern Virginia.

Mission

To promote the economic self-sufficiency and a better quality of life for the citizens of the region through small business ownership, job creation, and asset development. In support of this goal, People Incorporated Financial Services provides business and financial literacy training, individual technical assistance, and marketing services to entrepreneurs and others throughout the region.

The business development program and lending products focus on providing entrepreneurs with technical assistance and financing to start or expand their small businesses. The innovative business development practices facilitate the creation of employment, diversification of the local economy, and provide our communities with financial and employment alternatives.

People Incorporated Financial Services is a non-profit, 501(3)(c) organization that has been certified as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
