Individualized Technical Assistance is a key component of the program. Business Development Managers provide business counseling before and after loan approval.

Experienced staff can help entrepreneurs develop their business idea into a written business plan. Our staff also act as mentors for businesses once the business opens, if needed.

A large assortment of business start up guides, published by Entrepreneur Group, are a part of the BusinesStart Resource Library. These guides are available to the general public. The check-out policy requires a $75.00 deposit per guide which is returned when the books are returned. The office is open Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - through 4:30 p.m. The resource library may also be used on site during office hours.

Grant funding enables us to provide technical assistance free of charge to clients. However, we are required to track all customers served. Before receiving assistance, you must complete a client intake form. These forms are available online by clicking the link below or in our office.
